Check in at the studio

Scan the studio's QR code with your phone and check yourself in.

What this guide covers

Check yourself in when you arrive, with your own phone, instead of waiting for staff. This works when your studio has turned on self check-in.

Before you start

  • A booking at the studio today
  • Your phone. Signing in is quickest, but you can also check in without signing in
  • The studio's check-in QR code, usually at the front desk or on a screen where people arrive

Step by step

  1. Open your phone's camera and point it at the studio's check-in QR code. It opens the Check in page.
  2. Signed in, or on a phone where you checked in signed in before: if one booking is open for check-in right now, you're checked in straight away, with no tap. If you have more than one (or none open yet), find your booking and tap Check in.
  3. Not signed in: tap your session (skipped when only one is open), tap your name, then type the last 4 digits of your phone number and tap Check in. If the studio has no phone number for you, tap Sign in instead. Prefer to sign in? Tap Sign in instead.
  4. You see You're checked in. If you still owe for this booking, it also says Please pay at the desk, or, for a booking you paid a deposit on, what is left to pay in person (for example $100 to pay in person).

  • On Book, a small card at the top shows your next booking today: when check-in opens, then a Check in button while it's open (it explains how to scan the studio's code), then You're checked in.
  • On My Account, a booking shows Check in while check-in is open, and Checked in once you're in. Tapping Check in there explains how to scan the studio's code.
  • Once you've checked in signed in, your phone remembers you at that studio: next time a scan checks you in even if you're signed out. The page says Checking in as your name. Not you? Tap Not you? and the phone forgets you (signing out does too).
  • Typed the wrong digits 5 times? That name can't be checked in that way for the rest of the day. Sign in, or ask at the front desk.
  • Booked for more than one person? One check-in covers your whole party.
  • Studio has a check-in tablet? Tap your session, then your name. A check-in on the tablet doesn't stop you cancelling or rescheduling before the start (either one removes it); once you check in on your phone or staff check you in, contact the studio to make changes.
  • Can't check in? Staff at the front desk can always check you in.
