Walkthrough

Account overview

Step 1 preview: Account overview. Simplified preview only: your studio’s layout, labels, and colors may differ.

Step by step

  1. Open Account from the header (your studio may call it something else).
  2. The page opens with your next booking: when it is, where, and how it is paid. The next two bookings are listed under After that (a button beside the heading shows the rest), and your last two under Past sessions (tap Show earlier for older ones). Your studio may call them classes, appointments, lessons or its own word, so the heading reads, for example, Past classes.
  3. Check How you pay here. It says how your next booking will be paid: at the desk, by card when you book, or with credits. If you hold a membership it shows that instead; a membership pays for the bookings that include it, and each booking shows how it is paid. Below that are any visits you still owe at the desk and anything else on your account, like a gift card to redeem or your last purchase. If a membership payment failed, it says so first; update your card from the Shop.
  4. Your details is your member card: your name, email, phone and whether your forms are done. Tap Turn over for your address, date of birth and your forms (review them or download a PDF). Tap Edit to change any of it, then Save changes.
  5. Use Subscribe to calendar beside your bookings when offered.
  6. At the foot of the page, one line each: Emails about your bookings, News and offer emails, Studios you hear from and Your data. Each shows how many are on; tap one to open it. A change saves itself.

On a laptop or a tablet held sideways, your bookings are on the left and how you pay and your card on the right. On a phone it is one column.

More you can do here

  • Cancel an upcoming booking when your studio policy allows: tap Cancel on it, read what happens to your payment, then confirm. It opens under the booking, not in a pop-up
  • Reschedule an upcoming booking: pick another time of the same class. What you paid carries over; see Reschedule a booking
  • Add a tip after an appointment, when your studio asks for tips; see Tip after your visit
  • Tap Check in on today's booking while check-in is open (when your studio offers self check-in); see Check in at the studio
  • Download a data export when offered: your profile, bookings, intake forms, full credit history, credit balances at each studio, gift cards you bought or received, studio memberships and membership subscriptions
  • Add to calendar on any upcoming booking
  • Receipt on a past booking

Reschedule a booking

  1. Tap Reschedule on the booking. The times open under it.
  2. Pick another time. Only times of the same class with a free spot are listed.
  3. Check the line under the time: it says exactly what happens to your payment. Then tap Move booking.

What you paid carries over; you're never charged twice:

  • Credits: same price, nothing changes. A pricier time uses the difference from your balance (only if you have it). A cheaper time gives the difference back to your balance.
  • Card: you can move to a time with the same or a lower card price. A lower price refunds the difference to your card. For a pricier time, cancel and book it instead.
  • Membership: your membership has to cover the new time.
  • Pay at the desk: the hold moves; you still pay at the desk.

You get an email with the old and new time. You can't reschedule once the session has started, after you've checked in on your phone or staff have checked you in (a check-in on the studio's tablet doesn't count), or while you're on the waitlist. If your studio charges a late-cancel fee, you also can't reschedule inside that window online; contact the studio.

Tip after your visit

When your studio asks for tips, you get one email about 2 hours after an appointment you paid for online ends: Thanks for coming in, with the service, who looked after you and the day. The same offer shows on that booking under Past sessions for 7 days.

  1. Pick 15%, 18% or 20% (each shows its amount), or Other and type an amount.
  2. Tap Tip $X and pay by card.
  3. The booking then reads Thanks for the $X tip.

The percentages are of what the visit cost. Your tip goes to the studio for that staff member. You can add one tip per visit, any time in the next 7 days, from the email or your profile; the email link works without signing in, and only for that visit. If you paid at the front desk, you could tip there, so the email usually doesn't come (your profile still offers it); a tip you gave at the desk counts as your tip for that visit. You never get a tip email for a cancelled or missed booking, and turning off booking reminders in your email preferences turns this email off too. To change or refund a tip, contact the studio.
